Representative Miller Appointed To House Appropriations and Natural Resources Committees
State Representative Doug Miller, representing much of the Texas Hill Country including Comal, Bandera, Kendall and Gillespie counties, was reappointed to the Committees on Appropriations and Natural Resources.
"I am already hard at work with my fellow Appropriations Committee colleagues on eliminating wasteful spending and consolidating government functions where there may be redundancies. I also look forward to working to protect our state's precious natural resources. I am honored that Speaker Straus has confidence in my background on water issues and I look forward to receiving input from Texas Hill Country residents on how we can best protect those resources."
